The (Short) Story

LS Ventures, a strategy and consulting firm, was established to empower organizations, companies, and individuals to challenge the status quo in ways that promote exponential growth along with deep and long-lasting impact.  LSV was founded to facilitate equitable investment of philanthropic resources in marginalized communities that, because of systemic oppression, experience barriers to access resources and opportunities. This is accomplished by serving as a connector and bridge-builder between philanthropic and community-based non-profit organizations with a goal of strengthening relationships enhanced by transparency, trust, sharing power, a mutual commitment to belonging, and opportunities to thrive. LSV also draws upon experience by supporting non-profit organizations through volunteer and community-focused endeavors. ​ 

 

Founder and President of LS Ventures Lisa Sullivan has more than 15 years of experience in corporate and non-profit sectors, with focuses on community engagement and relations, philanthropy, and leadership. She was integral to the building of one of the few foundations dedicated to aging Colorado residents. As a program officer, she is most proud of being an integral partner in building a $2.5 million COVID relief fund for non-profits serving older adults and starting the first young professionals program focused on supporting aging initiatives. 

 

In addition to consulting, Lisa serves the Denver community as a member of the Creative Ideas Fund Council supporting projects created by and for those experiencing developmental disabilities.
